Proven CMOS and CCD Sensors
Teledyne Lumenera's USB 3.1 Gen 1 cameras deliver incredible image quality at very high frame rates and often at lower costs. Built in FPGA-based image processing off-loads the work from your computer and ensures the highest image quality without having to compromise on performance.
The combination of USB 3.1 Gen 1 technology and the CMOSIS / Sony sensors:
- Unleashes the speed limitations found with other sensors
- Does not require CameraLink framegrabber as USB 3.1 Gen 1 is native to new computers
- Result is a simplified system and reduced total system cost
- Provide data rates comparable to CameraLink (and far exceeding GigE), without the software and hardware complexities
High-Speed, Global Shutter, CMOS Sensor-Based USB 3.1 Gen 1 Cameras
The Lt225 and Lt425 cameras are built for rugged 24/7 use. Both cameras have a proven, high resolution CMOS sensor with a fully electronic global shutter that captures excellent quality, high-speed images with zero blur. This industrial-grade camera is ideally suited for applications that include traffic monitoring, Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR), high-speed inspection and motion control. This camera can be customized to suit OEM designs and is available in a scientific-grade version.
High Sensitivity, Low Noise, CCD Sensor-Based USB 3.1 Gen 1 Cameras
The Lt365R, Lt665R, Lt965R, and Lt1265R cameras feature Sony’s EXview HAD II CCD sensor technology, making them ideal for a variety of applications including traffic, tolling, high-speed inspection and machine vision. These cameras were built on low noise electronics to render details with amazing accuracy at astounding speeds. This responsiveness and high dynamic range, make them a great choice for Near-Infrared (NIR) imaging. These cameras include 128 MB of onboard memory for frame buffering, which ensures dependable and reliable image delivery even in the most demanding environments. Unlike some competitive camera companies, Lumenera’s buffer technology delivers all frames at full speed and max resolution without introducing latency. A scientific-grade variant is available for the most demanding life science applications.

SONY PREGIUS™ GLOBAL SHUTTER CMOS-BASED USB3 CAMERAS
Lumenera's USB 3.1 Gen 1 LtX Camera Family is based on Sony's latest Pregius™ global shutter CMOS technology and boasts CCD-like performance from a CMOS sensor with increased frame rates and crisp, clear distortion-free images. Lumenera offers several camera models based on Sony’s 2nd generation IMX sensors such as the 5MP IMX250 and IMX264 sensors and other sensors to produce a line of GS CMOS cameras ranging in resolution from 3MP to 12MP.
