Using a high frame rate camera with advanced imaging technology is a must for imaging applications like Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). The 96 fps frame rate of the Lt-C/M1610 allows high-speed traffic to be imaged in a variety of lighting environments. With a dynamic range of 73 dB and a full well capacity up to 100Ke-, the camera’s 9 µm pixel size is able to capture an impressive amount of detail in low light environments. This means as the sun sets, the Lt-C/M1610 will be able to accurately capture crucial information such as license plate characters.

Designed with larger pixel sizes and capable of large full well capacities, the Sony Pregius Gen 3 sensors capture far more detail under low light environments. Applications in outdoor imaging or with fluctuating brightness levels can take advantage of these sensors using their High Conversion Gain feature. This unique offering allows cameras to obtain clear images by capturing more light without introducing high levels of noise.
