Le575 provides 16X the detail of analog cameras

Las Vegas, NV – ASIS 2007 - September 24, 2007 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and custom imaging solutions, today announced the release of the Le575 family of 5 megapixel network cameras designed specifically for the video surveillance industry. The Le575 delivers unsurpassed image quality, setting a new standard for the high level of image detail security professionals have come to expect of IP cameras.

With 16X the resolution of analog or VGA cameras, the cost-effective Le575 is ideally suited for the recognition of people’s faces and vehicle licence plates, producing exceptionally crisp images suitable for digital zoom within a DVR/NVR system. The progressive scan image sensor can be easily paired with a wide selection of off-the-shelf megapixel lenses in 1/2-inch optical format. Streaming full 2560x1920 resolution at up to 6 frames per second, the Le575 transmits high quality JPEG images across a standard 10/100BaseT network interface. The camera maintains Lumenera's standard user interface and API for seamless support by our full range of softwareand hardware-based digital video recording partners. This camera is available in color, and is offered with an optional true day/night variant with a field-proven filter mechanism to provide outstanding night time performance when paired with infrared lighting. Lumenera can also provide a selection of weatherproof enclosures.
