LUMENERA AND OBJECTVIDEO PARTNER TO PROVIDE INTELLIGENT MEGAPIXEL VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

Integrated with ObjectVideo OnBoard™, Megapixel Camera Provides Latest in Intelligent Video Analysis

Orlando, FLA – Sept. 12, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading provider of megapixel IP security cameras, and ObjectVideo®, the leader in intelligent video, today announced at ASIS International 2005 a partnership to embed ObjectVideo OnBoard™ advanced video analytics in Lumenera’s new DSP-based IP camera platform.

Lumenera's NEW series of intelligent cameras are designed to dramatically improve detection/analysis of objects of interest and potential threats, while reducing false alarms for both government and commercial security applications.

ObjectVideo OnBoard is a perfect complement to the higher-quality images provided with Lumenera’s megapixel IP cameras. With extreme low-light capabilities and the benefit of 4-12X the image detail of NTSC, intelligent megapixel video greatly accelerates the assessment of and reaction to potential threats.

“Distributed processing, with video analysis residing at the camera, allows data to be efficiently analyzed and transmitted throughout the system, ultimately improving the effectiveness of the entire operation. Availability of this new integrated solution is slated for the fourth quarter of 2005.
