LUMENERA CORPORATION APPOINTS BRIAN GRAYDON AS MANAGER OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT- SCIENTIFIC DIVISION

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – March 28, 2005 – Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced the appointment of Brian Graydon as Manager of Business Development, Scientific Division.

Mr Graydon will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s North American sales channel for Lumenera’s scientific line of cameras.

Before joining Lumenera Corporation, Mr Graydon served as a Diagnostic Practice Consultant and Instrument Manager, with Idexx Laboratories Inc., where he was responsible for managing and growing their customer base for scientific analyzers in North America . Prior to his tenure with Idexx, Mr Graydon has served the industry for over 8 years selling scientific products into a variety of clinical and private laboratories as well as selling capital instruments into the clinical market.

Mr Graydon holds a Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry Degree from Carleton University .
