Lumenera Provides 11 Megapixel Resolution for High End Security Applications

Lumenera’s Le11059 camera is designed specifically for higher end security applications, particularly critical surveillance applications where image quality is essential.

Streaming full 4008x2672 resolution at up to 5 frames per second, the Le11059 delivers outstanding picture quality and performance across a standard 10/100BaseT network interface. A large 43.3mm (diagonal) CCD format sensor is capable of scanning 2600+ lines of resolution using progressive scan technology –an ideal solution for capturing moving objects across broad scenes. A larger SLR Canon Bayonet-Mount provides remote control of focus and iris through standard SLR lenses – offering excellent quality and range of focal lengths. This camera is available in both colour or monochrome and is offered with optional environmental enclosures.

Lumenera Day/Night Camera Models to Work Around-the-Clock

Lumenera’s CS-mount network cameras are available with true day/night functionality that features a robust and field proven optical filter mechanism. The day/night cameras are designed to work with active infrared lighting solutions to provide sustained, reliable, indoor/outdoor, around-the-clock operation.

Lumenera's day/night cameras automatically switch between the day mode (color) and the night mode (black & white/monochrome). The day and night thresholds are programmable based on the camera’s exposure time or gain level. User control through a web browser interface allows the camera to be adapted to a wide range of deployment scenarios with varying lighting and climate conditions.

Lumenera and Accordance Provide Complete Surveillance Solution

Lumenera is building a solid partnership with Accordance Systems Inc.. Using LuxRiot software, a Digital Video Recording and Remote Surveillance software package for a Windows based PC., and Lumenera's high performance digital cameras allows Accordance to provide a complete and secure surveillance solution.

Accordance Systems is based out of Taipei, Taiwan and is a professional RAID tech (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). RAID allows the simultaneous use of two or more hard disk drives to achieve greater levels of performance, reliability, and/or larger data volume sizes. Accordance’s ARAID product family of IDE and SATA disk arrays enables companies to effectively store, backup, manage, secure and transfer computer data. When used in conjunction with Lumenera’s high end digital cameras ARAID allows users to securely store and manage their imaging data.

Accordance distributes Lumenera’s leading surveillance camera models, such as Le165 and Le11059, for specific project needs in the Pacific Rim and globally.

Lumenera Partner GSG Showcased Lumenera's Surveillance Cameras at the SICURTECH Expo

GSG, a valued Lumenera partner, exhibited at the SICURTECH Expo in Milan, Italy from November 25-28 2008.

This leading security show displayed the most efficient and innovative technology for workplace health and safety, hazard prevention, fire-fighting, and emergency relief in case of natural disaster. Hazard prevention and safety are issues that are increasingly drawing the attention of the general public, the media, the business community and policymakers.

GSG showcased Lumenera's high quality network cameras for security and industrial applications. With X4 to X32 greater resolution than typical CCTV, Lumenera's family of megapixel cameras provide superior image detail for demanding surveillance applications.

Lumenera's Customer Satisfaction Survey

Lumenera recently completed a customer satisfaction survey to gather feedback and ensure our client needs are consistently being met.

The satisfaction survey was distributed to over 800 customers and partners who have utilized Lumenera’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) over the past year, focusing on those who have had several TAC experiences to get their indepth viewpoints.

The customer satisfaction survey had a 20% response rate overall which has surpassed the industry average and exceeded expectations. Thank you to all the customer satisfaction survey respondents.

Lumenera Customer Satisfaction Survey 2008 Results:
89% of respondents are happy with the timeliness of communication and information from TAC.
86% are very satisfied/satisfied with their experience in reaching the right person to help them.
82% are very satisfied/satisfied with the accuracy and helpfulness of the information provided.
82% are very satisfied/satisfied with the overall resolution of their case.
91% are very satisfied/satisfied with the professionalism of the TAC team.
89% rated TACs knowledge level in the very satisfied/satisfied categories.
86% rated their overall satisfaction levels in the very satisfied/satisfied categories.

Lumenera is pleased with the overall positive results and we thank our partners and customers for providing us with invaluable information. We also acknowledge the areas for improvement suggested in the survey results and will be using these constructive and helpful comments as we review and formulate a plan for TAC’s 2009 objectives. The Lumenera Knowledge Base portal currently provides help to customers with queries and provides case specific information. This is one area which we are already focusing our attention on to enhance the user experience. Lumenera intends to contact some of those respondents who indicated any level of dissatisfaction with the Knowledge Base to pinpoint where we may improve this service.

Additionally we will be reviewing the turnaround times for products returned for repair. The Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process is under continuous improvement. This year Lumenera introduced the automated order acknowledgement and RMA automated notices which have improved customer communication. Specifically for turn around times, we will take the comments provided and consider the points made as we move forward to improve customer satisfaction.

Lumenera is committed to providing world-class technical assistance and support. We endeavour to anticipate our customers' needs with quality products and services.

The TAC team has selected a winner of a $500 credit towards a new Lumenera camera purchase from the participants in our 2008 Customer Satisfaction Survey.
