The Lw11056 is a high-resolution camera based on a high dynamic range CMOS sensor, using multi-slope integration - ideal for off-line inspection, documentation and medical applications.

The Lw11056 uses a 6.6 megapixel CMOS sensor with a resolution of 3000x2200 and can deliver 5 frames per second at full resolution. Higher frame rates at lower resolution, with full sub-window control and live focusing modes. This USB 2.0 based camera provides simple plug-and-play integration with any Direct Show applications.  The 3000 x 2200 pixel sensor provides unique characteristics such as anti-bloom and high dynamic range (+100dB).  This camera is available in an enclosed (Lw11056) version, is offered with both color and monochrome capability and is fully supported by the Lumenera Software Developer's Kit with an application programming interface compatible with C++ and Visual Basic.

Partners with OEM to develop camera with embedded LED-illumination

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - September 28, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it has received a $450K contract to provide design and production of a custom camera with embedded LED illumination. 

Using a standard single-board [Lu173C] 1.3 megapixel USB 2.0 camera model, intended for volume OEM applications, Lumenera will provide a custom enclosure and unique near-infrared LED illumination system to highlight moving objects at a distance of 2-3 meters. The OEMs patent-pending technology will be used to post processing images for retail and a variety of other applications.

Lumenera announces new 2 megapixel CCD-based USB 2.0 camera for Industrial Applications

The Lw230 is a high-resolution camera based on a high performance CCD sensor with fast global shutter - ideal for capturing fast moving objects.

The Lw230 uses a 2.0 megapixel CCD sensor with a resolution of 1616x1216 and can deliver 12 frames per second at full resolution. Higher frame rates at lower resolution, with full sub-window control and live focusing modes. As with the entire line of Lumenera cameras, no framegrabber is required. This USB 2.0 based camera provides simple plug-and-play integration with any Direct Show application. The 1616 x 1216 resolution and on-board processing deliver outstanding image quality, sensitivity and value for a variety of industrial applications. New custom cameras to use latest HD-format 1080P sensors

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - September 1, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it has received a custom camera order from a leading NASDAQ traded company to provide a new HDMI interface camera.  First year ramp-up is expected to represent $1M, with a multi-year agreement to represent significantly larger revenues.

With stiff competition and full due diligence, Lumenera was chosen as the turn-key provider of the custom camera and custom lens package for this OEM's new product offering.  Core to the camera design is a latest generation CMOS sensor to provide the performance and price point requirements of the final product.  Lumenera will also provide a custom lens to meet the specific focal length and form factor required.

Custom cameras to use large format Kodak 11 megapixel sensor

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - July 2, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it has received an order for $450K to develop and supply a unique 11 megapixel CCD camera for an existing OEM partner. The initial production order has follow on potential of $1M to $2M per year.

This OEM customer originally chose Lumenera as its partner due to the flexibility of the company's standard USB 2.0 products.  As requirements for greater resolution arose, the OEM chose Lumenera for its technical expertise with CCD sensors - along with design capabilities to add complex SLR lens mechanicals providing focus and iris controls.  This custom camera will be embedded into the OEMs existing product providing the ability to capture 2-3X more image detail - greatly differentiating from its immediate competition.
