Lumenera reported a year-over-year revenue increase of 75%, delivering another year of remarkable growth. Continuing orders from key OEMs and a significant increase in new customers accounted for 2X the quantity of products shipped as well as sales and R&D staff more than doubling. Lumenera has increased its customer base to over 800 customers in 40+ countries around the world. Strong growth is expected in FY06 with investments in representative and distribution partnerships drawing new opportunities to Lumenera.

Lumenera launched a number of new products within its industrial, scientific and security divisions. Significant milestones include the INFINITY3-1, a high-performance cooled USB 2.0 scientific research camera, as well as true day/night options for the company’s line of security cameras providing industry leading performance. Major design wins for OEM volume contracts are in various stages of development, providing growth for FY06 and beyond.

OEM customer for new 2 megapixel CCD network camera model

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - October 28, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it has received an order for $1.5M to develop and supply a new, high-performance 2 megapixel HD format network camera. The order includes a mix of new and standard (Le175) cameras over a one year period.

This OEM customer recently moved from analog CCTV cameras to megapixel to reduce the camera count required in a typical install. The additional resolution of a 2Kx1K HD sensor provides image detail to greatly improve the success rate in capturing high-speed moving objects in daylight and night-time conditions. Full I/O control of external strobe was a key technical requirement.

New custom cameras to use latest HD-format 1080P sensors

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - September 1, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it has received a custom camera order from a leading NASDAQ traded company to provide a new HDMI interface camera. First year ramp-up is expected to represent $1M, with a multi-year agreement to represent significantly larger revenues.

With stiff competition and full due diligence, Lumenera was chosen as the turn-key provider of the custom camera and custom lens package for this OEM's new product offering. Core to the camera design is a latest generation CMOS sensor to provide the performance and price point requirements of the final product. Lumenera will also provide a custom lens to meet the specific focal length and form factor required.

Custom cameras to use large format Kodak 11 megapixel sensor

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - July 2, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it has received an order for $450K to develop and supply a unique 11 megapixel CCD camera for an existing OEM partner. The initial production order has follow on potential of $1M to $2M per year.

This OEM customer originally chose Lumenera as its partner due to the flexibility of the company's standard USB 2.0 products. As requirements for greater resolution arose, the OEM chose Lumenera for its technical expertise with CCD sensors - along with design capabilities to add complex SLR lens mechanicals providing focus and iris controls. This custom camera will be embedded into the OEMs existing product providing the ability to capture 2-3X more image detail - greatly differentiating from its immediate competition.

Mr Graydon will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s North American sales channel for Lumenera’s scientific line of cameras.

Before joining Lumenera Corporation, Mr Graydon served as a Diagnostic Practice Consultant and Instrument Manager, with Idexx Laboratories Inc., where he was responsible for managing and growing their customer base for scientific analyzers in North America . Prior to his tenure with Idexx, Mr Graydon has served the industry for over 8 years selling scientific products into a variety of clinical and private laboratories as well as selling capital instruments into the clinical market.

Mr Graydon holds a Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry Degree from Carleton University .
