The Infinity 2 camera is a high quality, high resolution CCD-based microscopy camera ideal for image analysis and archiving.

The Infinity 2 uses a 1.3 megapixel Sony CCD image sensor, provides global shutter with excellent sensitivity and 10 bit digital output. The Infinity 2 can deliver image data at 15 fps at full resolution and greater than 200fps with binning and ROI. This camera is offered with both colour and monochrome capability, and is supported by a microscopy-user software application with auto/manual white balance, full exposure control and ROI, as well as TWAIN interface. High-speed USB 2.0 interface eliminates the framegrabber and provides ease of installation on both laptop and desktop computers.

The Infinity X is a high-resolution microscopy camera that incorporates the patented DeltaVu pixel shifting technology by DeltaPix. Variable resolutions up to 20 megapixels allow the user to take full advantage of their microscope optics in capturing the sharpest image conceivable for printing and publication purposes.

The Infinity X offers 21-megapixel resolution, which is achieved through shifting a native 1280x1024 pixel array, based on a 1/2"color sensor. The Infinity X offers flexibility to choose between 1.3 through to 21-million pixel resolution to take full advantage of microscope optics in capturing precise detail. DeltaVu technology greatly increases image resolution and color accuracy for clinical, life sciences, materials sciences, and educational professionals where high-resolution images are essential. Live video preview provides for real-time focus. Infinity X auto-exposure and auto-white-balance efficiently captures your optimal image. Software control provides exposures from 10us through 2 seconds.

An intuitive user application provides camera control while full integration to popular third-party imaging applications is available through our TWAIN drivers. The high speed USB 2.0 interface eliminates a framegrabber and facilitates ease of installation on both laptop and desktop computers.

The Infinity 1 uses progressive scan 1.3 megapixel image sensor technology and delivers full-frame images at 15 frames per second. Smaller regions of interest have higher frame rates. New range of digital microscopy cameras are designed for applications where quality high-resolution images are a must

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - June 16, 2003 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced that it is launching a new corporate scientific camera division - Lumenera Scientific.

Lumenera Scientific will offer a range of “Infinity” brand cameras as a natural extension of its existing business, which currently focuses on the industrial markets. Infinity cameras will be built to the highest quality standards providing 1.3 through 21 Mpixel resolution, for use with research and clinical microscope applications.

The Infinity line of cameras will provide the first USB 2.0 interface scientific camera in the marketplace. Scientists and researchers will appreciate the ease of connectivity and plug and play capability of this digital USB 2.0 camera line.
