New facilities required to support company growth

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - December 30, 2003 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced that it has moved its Ottawa, Ontario, principal office to 2470 Don Reid Drive. This new location represents over three times the office space than its previous location to support its rapid growth. Larger facilities will support greater Operations facilities, along with office space for new Development and Support Staff.

“We had clearly outgrown our offices after just a little more than one year,” stated President Huw Leahy “We were very pleased to find the space that we needed in this wonderful city. Our new principal office will better support the needs of our customers with increased manufacturing capacity and expanded warehousing.”

Lumenera Corporation Reports Significant Increase In First Quarter Revenue And Earnings

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - July 31, 2003 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced the appointment of Larry Whelan as Director of Business Development, Scientific Division.

Mr. Whelan will be responsible for spearheading strategies and managing the company’s worldwide sales, business development and distribution network for the Infinity line of scientific cameras.

Before joining Lumenera Corporation, Mr. Whelan was responsible for major account sales with Fisher Scientific. Prior to this, Mr. Whelan spent several years in account sales within the digital imaging industry.

Mr. Whelan’s experience includes serving for 12 years with BIO-RAD Laboratories as a territory sales manager. During his tenure at BIO-RAD, he also served as a National Instrumentation Specialist, for life science imaging products including gel-documentation and confocal microscopes. Mr. Whelan also served as a Research Assistant at the Montreal General Hospital, in Neuroscience Research. Mr. Whelan holds a bachelor's degree in Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

DeltaPix to distribute Infinity X camera to European market

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - June 25, 2003 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced its distribution and technology partnership with DeltaPix for Lumenera’s line of scientific cameras.

Lumenera and DeltaPix began a technology partnership earlier in the year with the purpose to combine technologies in developing a cost-competitive and leading edge, 21-megapixel camera for the scientific marketplace. This was achieved by combining DeltaVu (patent pending) technology from DeltaPix with Lumenera’s scientific camera expertise - in creating the Infinity X camera model.

New range of digital microscopy cameras are designed for applications where quality high-resolution images are a must

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - June 16, 2003 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced that it is launching a new corporate scientific camera division - Lumenera Scientific. Lumenera Scientific will offer a range of “Infinity” brand cameras as a natural extension of its existing business, which currently focuses on the industrial markets. Infinity cameras will be built to the highest quality standards providing 1.3 through 21 Mpixel resolution, for use with research and clinical microscope applications.

The Infinity line of cameras will provide the first USB 2.0 interface scientific camera in the marketplace. Scientists and researchers will appreciate the ease of connectivity and plug and play capability of this digital USB 2.0 camera line.
