Ottawa, Ontario, Canada- July 7, 2004- Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced it will be discontinuing production of the Lu 110/Lu115.
Lumenera recommends a replacement model, the Lu170/Lu175 camera series. The Lu170/Lu175 offers better sensitivity with even lower noise characteristics - similar to CCD performance. The Lu170/Lu175 camera offers a similar 1/2" CMOS sensor with a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels. Monochrome and color models are now shipping and these units are fully supported by the Lumenera Software Developer's Kit.
Lumenera is pleased to announce that the Lu170 unit pricing begins at only $845.00 USD and the Lu175 color or monochrome pricing begins at only $945.00 USD.
