LUMENERA CORPORATION APPOINTS SEBASTIEN DIGNARD AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR EUROPEAN MARKETS

Mr. Dignard to grow Lumenera’s international imaging market share

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, June 12, 2006 – Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today announced the appointment of Sebastien Dignard to the new position of Business Development Manager for European Markets.

Mr. Dignard joined Lumenera in November of 2005 as Business Development Manager for Industrial Markets. Prior to joining Lumenera, Mr. Dignard held the position of International Account Executive at Alacris, and International Sales Manager at SpaceBridge Semiconductor, where he successfully built international sales channels and consistently exceeded sales targets.

Mr. Dignard will lead the drive in maintaining and growing Lumenera’s strong foothold within the European market. He will play a key role in enhancing Lumenera’s product offerings to customer’s world wide, opening up new and emerging markets, and growing sales revenues through strategic partners.
