Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – November 11, 2005 - Lumenera Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, today reported its audited financial results for its fiscal year ending September 30, 2005.
Lumenera reported a year-over-year revenue increase of 75%, delivering another year of remarkable growth. Continuing orders from key OEMs and a significant increase in new customers accounted for 2X the quantity of products shipped as well as sales and R&D staff more than doubling. Lumenera has increased its customer base to over 800 customers in 40+ countries around the world. Strong growth is expected in FY06 with investments in representative and distribution partnerships drawing new opportunities to Lumenera.
Lumenera launched a number of new products within its industrial, scientific and security divisions. Significant milestones include the INFINITY3-1, a high-performance cooled USB 2.0 scientific research camera, as well as true day/night options for the company’s line of security cameras providing industry leading performance. Major design wins for OEM volume contracts are in various stages of development, providing growth for FY06 and beyond.
